The Marriage Act 1961 requires the following:

You must lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month before
the ceremony and you must sign a declaration before your marriage to state
you are free to marry, (this means that there is no legal impediment to your
marriage).

I must view your birth certificates or if born overseas, your passport.

I must view hard copies of termination of any previous marriage - this
includes death certificate or final divorce decree.

If you are under the age of 18, consent forms are required.

You will need two witnesses at the ceremony, (both 18 years or older).
